Who I am
My name is Marija Marković and I was born in Belgrade, Serbia, on 17 October 1982.
My artistic career began in 2000 in Belgrade in the private studio of Gradimir Rajkovic (sculptor) where I stayed for 2 years attending the course of drawing and modelling.
In September 2002, I decide to leave Serbia and enrol at the Academy of Fine Arts in Venice in the sculpture class of Prof. Andrea Grassi.
In 2005, I went to Pietrasanta to do a workshop and there a great love for marble was born...
