Venetian Mask Creation Course (from scratch)
Discover the authentic art of master "mascareri" and learn to create a Venetian mask entirely from scratch.
This is not a tourist decoration workshop: it is a true artisan course where you will enter the real process
of construction, using traditional techniques passed down for centuries.
In fact, Venetian masks are born from a complex manual process that starts with sculpting, goes through
the plaster mold, and ends with a papier-mâché structure.

What you will learn
Throughout the course, you will follow all key stages of creation:
Manual sculpting of the face (creating your unique model)
Plaster mold creation
Mold preparation
Traditional papier-mâché technique
Structuring the mask

⚠️ This course does not include decoration.
The goal is to teach you the real construction process, as it happens in artisan workshops.
An authentic experience
In Venice, masks are handcrafted with techniques combining sculpture and paper work, making each
piece unique.
